[Gpod] BRASS EYE Director: Michael Cumming Starring: Chris Morris, et al. Brass Eye is a UK television series of satirical spoof documentaries which aired on Channel 4 in 1997 and was re-run in 2001. The series was created by satirist Chris Morris, and written by, amongst others, Morris, David Quantick, Peter Baynham, Arthur Mathews and Graham Linehan. It was conceived as a sequel to Morriss earlier spoof news programmes On The Hour and The Day Today, and satirised the medias portrayal of various social ills. People are still gonna download it, but if the make it easy to _legally_ obtain this show ($$ for non-subscribers, 1/2$ or free for customers), they can have a huge array of options for how to present this, and the method of delivery.

"Last weeks top 100" is a novelty download at best - though full new albums do show up quite frequently but also don't seem to last awfully long either.

[Jonsthoughtsoneverything.com] Jons Thoughts On Everything » RSS + Bittorrent + Xbmc == Bliss: 3 300 GB Seagate drives, about 300 movies on there now and seinfeld and friends dvd seasons :) One problem with XBMC is that dvds with menus seem to crash it a lot… so I need to rip the movie after download it again and only have the movie without any extras that works perfectly…

[Birdhouse.org] birdhouse.org: BitTorrent, XviD, UnRarX, iDVD: Unsurprisingly, found that the BitTorrent world is somewhat biased towards Windows users, and that usage instructions don't come with downloads. With a bit of research and experimentation, I was able to pull all the pieces together to download, decode, and burn the show to disc from the Mac.
